Claim Your Name First
Choose an account name and a password here, once. After that you simply log in through the client with the two of them.
Account is ready
Now get the client, run it, and log in with the name and password you just chose. Your character is created after you log in, not now.
Worth Knowing
One letter off, one new account
If you type a name straight into the login screen without registering here, the server accepts it as given — including when the spelling is one letter off. What follows is not an error message but an empty account you have just created without noticing.
Registering on this page closes that trap: the name is on record before you ever touch the client.
Having several accounts is fine
We do not limit how many accounts you own. What is limited is how many run at the same time from one device: three. The rule is in the Guide.
What is forbidden is not owning many accounts, but using them to harvest resources and funnel everything into one main account.
We never read your password
On its way from this page to the game server, your password is locked and can only be opened by the server machine itself. And what is stored there is not the password either but a digest of it — nobody, GMs included, can read it back.
That is why a forgotten password has to be replaced rather than resent.
It takes a dozen seconds or so
The game server is not exposed directly to the internet — that is deliberate, and it is what keeps the player database closed. Your request is left in a queue and then collected by the server. It is usually finished within a dozen seconds.
Do not press the button twice; this page will tell you itself when it is done.
